FlowerGrassTreeWood
FlowerGrassTreeWood is a publication for the National Parks Board on the nature parks in Singapore, dedicated to the park lovers. It mainly introduce 3 parks, such as the Botanic Gardens, the Pasir Ris park and the Bedok Reservoir.
Design Inspiration
Strong typography of Chinese characters are used that has a visual detail of the nature like the leave veins. Chinese fonts are used to show that Singapore is bilingual and that it gives a sophisticated look to the book's overall visual. Black and white photos of the nature is used to show contrast between the colour photos and the black and white photos. Circle is also my main visual language in showing the photographs of the parks.
